It has to do with WWII. And I guess it comes out next week - according to the mail my wife just got.

Many of us had parents that protected us then -and we grew up with that hope.

A lot of them are gone now. But that knowledge isn't - can't be. And we cannot let it go.

The day it is "gone", I think we are screwed as a country.

We listened. Too many of us listened.

My grandfather was a B-17 pilot/bombadier. is that what you're talking about?

my dad was a T/Sgt. Waist-gunner with the 95th.....flying in B-17s....from what i remember his group was the first shuttle mission to Russia from England.....

4. I can't prove it, but I think - we listened to our parents and

grandparents from that war. And we learned something.

And have been forced with asshole leaders that just didn't get it.

And never will.

I just wrote a book about it.

I'll tell you one thing for a fact - your grandfather was a very brave guy. And I think you must take after him.

i guess I got confused with something else. There is another book called "Wing and a Prayer" that was written by my grandfather's navigator. It's amazing to see him mentioned so many times in the text. I only wish he hadn't died while I was so young. Is there any other info you can give about your book?
