Today Show in total apologist mode (Gore/Clinton speech & Predator attack)
Some phrases used as lead-ins for the Gore and Clinton speeches yesterday:

"When Democrats attack"

"Is the 2000 election not over yet?"

And some asshat terrorism "expert" - Steve Everson - is saying wrt to the Predator attack in Pakistan:

"War is hell"

Paraphrasing: "If Zawahiri had been killed, the collateral damage would be worth it"

Paraphrasing: "bin Laden was three times in the gunsights of Predator drones but the decision to fire was not made" (I assume he's referring to the Clinton administration but, as far as I'm aware, Predator drones were NOT armed at that point!

1. This administration STILL doesn't get that Muslim people
don't hate us for who we are or our "freedoms," but because we run over there and KILL them.

4. To all my Muslim brothers and sisters: Sorry for allowing GWB to act...
as the Grand Inquisitor.

10. you got his title wrong
This petty spin-tyrant isn't the Grand Inquisitor, he's Dur Fuhrer. His attacks against Muslims mirror Hitler attacks on Jews in the early days of the Nazi regime. Another similarity emerges when we compare the Reichstag fire to the World Trade Center disaster. If history teaches us nothing we are doomed to repeat mistakes.

5. Uh yeah, the Predators were spotting for Tomahawks
which would've taken an hour to arrive.

6. I remember, one of the times that Clinton went after OBL
and blew up an "aspirin factory", the Repukes went batshit, complaining about how Clinton, the Pres for the little guy, killed a night janitor . . .

And they decried his excuse that the intel was "a few hours old" . . .

8. Sure it's worth it
In fact, as Republicans commune regularly with the dead, which enables them to claim the legacy of Gandhi, Roosevelt, Kennedy and King, they know that the 17 people killed in Pakistan were proud to have died as heroes defending freedom. Just like the thousands of dead soldiers Bush has created in his quest for the White Turban, and the innumerable thousands of dead Iraqis.

Heroes, every one of them. Except the terrorists. God will sort them out. It's Bush's job to make sure that God doesn't get bored.

9. Clinton left the decision to arm Predator drones to Bush - the capacity to
arm wasn't available till right before Clinton was leaving office.

Bush not only ignored Clinton's tracking of Bin Laden, he also pulled a carrier ship back from its mission as backup to possible operations against Bin Laden.

Will the media EVER talk about THAT? Nope. It proves Bush is no hero in the terror war. He's a ZERO who is responsible for 9-11 and the deaths of thousands.

11. Yeah, and if Bush and Reagan had killed him when they were selling...
those missile launchers to him, then Clinton would not have had nay problems with terrorism....
