ON ABRAMOFF AND ALITO PUBLIC TV REPORTS
January 10, on Alabama Public Television, former CNN news anchor Judy Woodruff as a DC "insider" reports that "unless Alito makes a big mistake" he's likely to gain appointment. She added that Democrats on the Hill are objecting on grounds that Alito favors expansion of presidential powers.

In reference to the Abramoff scandal, she stated that the vast majority of tribal funds went to Republicans and the few Democrats that received contributions from Native Americans are not only unashamed of receiving the donations but also have no intention of returning the good faith pledges.

2. She seems credible to me
What's your opinion of her? I just thought it might be a good to straighten out all the obvious DU confusion on these issues. Network news shows certainly don't help.

4. She's ok... I suppose...
She was just a little irritating during the 2004 campaign.. Sometimes more than a little irritating actually.

Sometimes it was REALLLLY hard for us to believe that she's married to Al Hunt.. http://eliteleague.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/duh!.gif

7. according to Public TV she wins awards
Children who witness war and conflict grow up far too quickly, and often with debilitating side effects. SEPTEMBER'S CHILDREN, narrated by award-winning CNN anchor Judy Woodruff, focuses on the effect of war and terrorism on children. More importantly, it offers valuable insights into alleviating their emotional trauma. The program brings to life the searing events of September 11th through the eyes of students at Public School 234 in New York City, the elementary school closest to Ground Zero on 9/11. The production also travels to war zones including Afghanistan, Israel and Gaza, where teachers, parents and mental health workers are using innovative techniques to treat the emotional havoc war and violence inflict on children.

the "network" on ABC skimmed through the story a little earlier and said nothing about the fact that Dems were innocent and then went to their vicious yellow dog story. I wonder if it was a yellow dog democrat.

3. Just saw on on 'Tavis Smiley' ...
... and she pretty much reiterated what was said above.

Tavis started the interview by saying, "I'm sure your missed over at CNN. But I'm also sure you're doing well at ... well, wherever it is you are."
