Lieberman ready to drop out tomorrow....?

With the latest poll that came out today that shows Lieberman in 2nd place in Delaware behind Kerry, will he announce tomorrow that he is dropping out of the race? Yes, he has talked a good game up to now but Joe is a realist. He will not say who he will support yet. He will wait until it is more of a sure thing....like after Feb 3rd. :)

is that Joe will stay in until the Connecticut polls start coming out. If they are dire, he will probably get out so as not to get clobbered in his home state. Just a guess, tho.

6. i'd be surprised

first off, Joe staying in helps the democratic establishment. Now that Kerry is viable, maintaining the status quo will help Kerry back his way in by holding down voting blocks. People moving around could change too many equations.

Besides... i doubt Joe wants to be out before Sharpton - unless it looks likely that Sharpton would get delegates.

It's actually pretty sad. This guy did some really good things in the old days - and he's going to be remembered forever by a new Websters entry.

8. Sharpton has promised to

stay until the very end so that he can continue to remind democrats of the people who are not being represented and I doubt Lieberman will make it through the end.

What's really sad is the paragraph on 'Joementum'. Here's a bit of his bio:

If he's looking at more than 15% I bet he'll stay in to get some delegates.
