Is it just me, or is it fairly obvious that Al Queda doesn't need Iraq as a safe haven when obviously Pakistan and Afghanistan are doing just fine as "safe havens". Why in the world would Al Queda want to get blown to bits en masse when they can sit back in the two previously cited countries sipping tea and checking their stock portfolio on the 'Net? I would strongly urge President Bush to quit using our troops as bait and try to find Osama in Pakistan or Afghanistan. I imagine that a good deal of Al Queda is probably in the same "safe haven".

1. Well, one of Bin Ladden's goals was to remove Saddam from power
bushco certainly helped him with that one. Now there seems to be some Al Queda cells in Iraq where there were none before bushco invaded and did what Osama wanted.

Just a little food for thought for the lurkers out there in cyber-land

6. I'm in agreement with you...
Saddam was a terrorist to his own people but so is Bush. Bush created a war torn country in which Al Queda cells are free to roam. That is what happens in war torn countries.

I don't care who they install in Iraq's new government. There is no way in hell they can reverse this trend. IMO, this administrations policies have put America in danger more than ever before in history and I personally believe that was exactly his goal.

I am firmly in the MIHOP camp at this point. Bush MAY be an idiot, but his advisor's are not and I think he only plays the part of the idiot to make it easier for the average American idiot to accept him and his corrupt policies and procedures.

Edited on Wed Jan-04-06 11:48 AM by BlueManDude
i know many believe the contrary but there's no way we can invade Iran with troops. We just don't have the bodies.

4. Iraqnam is not a safe haven, it's boot camp
Safe haven is the Bushco doctrine of endless war against any who oppose the holy Rovian empire.

7. So Bin Ladin could slip across the border and "hide" in Iraq?
Yeah, that makes an elephant's dung load of sense.
