(PRWEB) December 16, 2005 -- Liberal Talk Show Host Barry Gordon’s “From Left Field” Moves to KCAA Radio and “NewsRap” Featured on Channel 56 TV.

A liberal voice taking on the rantmeisters of the right, who currently monopolize 90 percent of the airways, Barry Gordon, former President of the Screen Actors Guild and a lifelong Democrat, can now be heard on “From Left Field” Sundays 2-5 p.m. over KCAA 1050 AM and seen on “NewsRap” Tuesday-Friday 9-10 p.m. on Channel 56. Each show is also available to a worldwide audience online, with KCAA webcast and podcast at www.kcaa.homestead.com, and Channel 56 webcast at www.pasadena56.tv, with links from www.GordonTalk.com.

Guests with a liberal political perspective are being actively sought from all fields for both Southern California-based programs. The radio show, “From Left Field,” is broadcast live from Burbank and guests may appear in-studio, by phone or in pre-record segments, and is produced by Malcolm Burman, president of The Burman Group International, and Gordon. The television show, “NewsRap,” is taped live at Hen’s Teeth Square in Pasadena.

Previously heard on the notoriously conservative KRLA 870, Gordon’s move to KCAA 1050, an Air America affiliate featuring progressive talk shows, will allow him to expand his format and address more controversial topics. “It’s very exciting to have more freedom of speech,” says Gordon. “The new three-hour show also offers a greater opportunity to go in-depth and present special guests with commentary on politics, culture and entertainment.” Gordon will also be reviewing political and socially-charged films, plays and CDs, and welcomes submissions.
