Just my confusion

Is it just me? Am I just nuts??

What is this constant twang going on: "Support our Troops". If we really wanted to support our troops, we would get behind each and every effort to GET THE HOME! What is really being said is "Support our mission". Time for the troops to come home, HEAL, and begin helping THIS country rebuild it's infrascruture. Three IS a mission here!! (an honorable one)

Speaking of mission.. WHAT is the mission. * can talk till he falls over and he still hasn't told me what the mission is. Folks, there IS no mission, other than to use each and every excuse possible to keep our troops in that country, (is it for oil? - I really don't know)..or is it to prop up W's pride failures at being caught in such an horendous lie! The mystery continues..

We are about to send another $50 billion over there, and around the corner they will be asking for an additional $100 billion. Will our congress fund this further? Geesh, is it just me?..I've choked, can't swallow this...

1. No, it isn't just you

I find it interesting that the rw talk show hosts who call us traitors don't do USO tours, and use the "support the troops" to make money for themselves (Rush). They seem to think that providing even a basic outline of goals to achieve (like after this election, after so many Iraqis are trained, we'll start to remove troops) will give aid and comfort to the enemy. But since they see us as the enemy, since we want to preserve our Constitution and rule of law, maybe that's no too far off the mark.
