Bush's speech on Iraq economy will blowback in his face
He's gonna tell us how great the economy in Iraq is doing while we have people along the Gulf Coast without shelter because of the Hurricane Katrina? If he spent $200 billion along the Gulf Coast, their economy would be improving also.

He will point to the number of cell phones as proof of their booming economy. That will be a strange comment considering that cell phones are used to explode some of the IED roadside bombs?

With 50% unemployment, how can anyone but George W Bush talk about a great economy? More bullshit as usual. This will blowback in his face because the majority of Americans do not think the American economy is doing as great as the Adminstration says and they have no desire to hear about how great the Iraq economy is doing. If this is Karl ROve's idea, I think he just screwed up.

1. Hey Bush, how about *OUR* Economy
Recommended!

We need to take care of OUR economy, not the economy of a foreign county!

5. ditto
it's amazing how they can be so quick to spend money in Iraq but are so slow on the gulf states.

Maybe Iraq will be the vacation place for future Republicans??

6. I think the ultimate goal here is to annex and colonize Iraq. After
exterminating the natives, of course. Why else all this "investment"?
