but I refer to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh as Insannity and OxyRush.

6. Check out the research forum list

there's a whole lotta nicknames lists there.

Unfortunately, the mods locked all the nicknames lists, without prior notice or opportunity for input, because these lists apparently don't meet somebody's pre-decided and unpublished standard.

Earlier today I posted a piece about the mods summary decision to lock these threads, set out my disagreement and my reasoning for keeping these threads open, but within just a few minutes a mod locked up my post and sent me a backchannel message that complaints need to go directly to the mods. I've asked for an explanation as to what exactly was wrong or subversive or inappropriate about my original post, but haven't yet received a response.

So much for freedom of speech and discussion, and real, genuine opportunities for input and community standards, even here at DU.

I've also written backchannel to the mods and asked them to unlock these threads so that DUers can continue adding in nicknames, like the ones found here in your post and in the responses.

Please consider expressing your support for keeping these threads open for additions by other DUers.
