Bill Frist says "we won't stop until we achieve total victory" Bush and Cheney says we must "stay the course"

Where does that course end? How does one know when one has won the war on terrorism?

It is such a bunch of political indoctrination and either people in this country are too damned stupid to call them on it or they make sure no one every gets to ask the question.

Well I am asking the question and I would hope everyone writes their Senators and other officials and ask them:

"What does VICTORY OVER TERRORISM LOOK LIKE SO I CAN RECOGNIZE IT WHEN IT COMES"?

1. The War on Terror
is a stupid slogan that allows the neo-cons to push their religious agenda....the one that says that the whole world can starve in the dark as long as Americans can drive their SUV's and continue to use 25% of all the world's resources.......

2. When you realize that your own policies have created it, and
act accordingly... that is what it looks like, self reflection, introspection, contemplation and rumination without rationalization.

3. Absolutely Correct!
You are absolutely correct on your implication that a victory against the war on terror would never be recognized. Terror is a tactic and NOT an army. It only takes one person with a bomb strapped to him for terror to survive. How do you wipe out every single terrorist in the world...YOU DON'T!

I am truly amazed that no one speaks to this point. It baffles me that this simple point is missed by so many...or perhaps no one wants to face the fact that a "victory against terror" is simply not possible and never will be. It's reality, stupid!

5. Can we vote this up or keep it kicked. I am afraid there are many
people who don't even think about this, (freepers) that MAY get their heads opened up if we put it on the front page.

We don't need long dissertations sometimes. Just some simple points that need to be voiced. And this needs to be repeated as often as "the war on terror"

(I just heard some dingbat on C-Span saying that the soldiers in Iraq are keeping our freedom). Our soldiers need to be respected by telling them the truth.

4. War On Terror .... War On Drugs ... Nothing but smokescreens
to pour money into government operations that usurp our liberties.

6. Please kick this up then. As I sit here looking at the freak show
going on in the Senate right now I think some re-thugs need to be reminded that this whole "war" is not a war!

8. Moreover.......
terrorism is the weapon of the weak; it is the preferred weapon of those without much to lose.

The best way to eradicate terror is to give folks something to lose besides their lives.

The repukes have what they want: a "war" against... against... against... well, against whoever they SAY at the moment it is against.
