Is there anything to it? Or is this the beginning of the Coronation of Condi?

2. yet, it was Euro-efforts that made it happen
And they will be the ones who run inspections.

She was a late-comer to the talks.

5. That's just it. Did she push it over the top?
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 11:25 AM by win_in_06
Edit:

Or to use her language, "push it over the goal-line in the fourth quarter?"

6. We have to wait for the Euro press to weigh in. I suspect they will
be more truthful than Condi's spinners.

9. do not confuse polite diplomacy for any emotion.
After all, these folks are far more experienced in diplomacy than most Americans. They have entire schools for it. WE, well, we ahve civil service training, only to find out that taking those courses makes you poison in the eyes of the administration.

no our public face really is John Bolton. Condi is treated politely only because she is only 1/3 as bad as he.

3. At this point she's
the only shining star in the sky. The others have all imploded, so of course, they are going to trumpet her every move. Besides, this woman has her eyes on the Nobel....

7. That's what I was thinking. The Nobel prize would be a great campaign
tool for her in 08.

Surely her people are going to lobby hard for it.

4. She's a useless shill. A tool. A mindless troll. Everything evil.
The only advantage I see to her, and the reason she couldn't be elected, is that woman are much more liberal than men. If she opened the door for woman to be President - RW troll or otherwise, the likelyhood of more liberal woman being elected would go way up - thus driving the righties crazy.

11. What a bunch of BS. Super Condi walks in and the agreement is made..
overnight. How much is the US paying for this to happen. Besides, this border agreement will probably last about a week, just like the rest of the agreements.

14. Rove's Competency Offensive.
Veterans Day was the opening salvo.

Condi "solves" the intractable Israeli/Palestinian conflict (albeit an agreement was inevitable & relatively simple given the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza).

Bush goes to Asia, where they don't hate him nearly as much as everywhere else. The biggest PR move awaits in Ulan Baator. He'll turn on the loathesome "charm" to thank the Mongolians for sending troops to Iraq. He'll sleep in a yurt. He'll check out some throat singin'. He'll pose by some horses (how disappointed the Mongols will be when they find out the cowboy don't ride). Never mind that they were clearly buying favor & could give a fuck about Democracy in the ME. He'll do some diplomatin' & presidentin' & the MSM will hold it up & show the mouth breathers how competent he is & how everythings hunky dory if you don't hate freedom.

18. Saw this one
coming last week when CNN did a lil story about the only bright spot in the bush administration. That was Rice. CNN reported she had a 59% approval** rating and anything she does overseas will be given more credance, even if she did nothing......

** Now I do not agree with this approval of 59%. Not with all the lies she has told, but then again she was never really called on them. So bushhit suffers and she gets the praise.
