2. Who were the "half of the dems" that didn't vote with BushCo?
Carl Levin said this morning that 1/2 the dems did not vote for Bush's war. Before I spend lots of time searching and sorting info, is the split related to those with access to the actual information, as opposed to those who only received BushCo's cherry-picked info? You know, the ones "who saw the same intelligence Bush did?" Because that's where the Big Lie part comes in. Levin alluded to the fact that those who saw the REAL information did NOT vote for the war, but that is not what Bush showed the entire body in making his case, and it is the members who were not privvy to the classified information that tended to vote FOR Bush's Folley. Anyone know the breakdown, or have ready access to the information based upon access to intel?

3. Hear, hear!!!

I have little respect for those unprincipiled weasel Dems like Kerry, Biden and Edwards etc who voted for for the war leading to so much innocdent death and destruction, and are now pretending to have beemn misled. These folks will pee on you and tell you its raining. They received letters and calls 10-1 against the war but went ahead and voted yes anyway.

On the other hand, I have the greatest respect for Dennis Kucinich who led the fight in the House to stop the war before it started.

5. I don't automatically support anybody, even if they're a Dem
Whomever has assisted Bush in even the most casual way in selling or planning his Middle East adventures already has one strike against them.

6. Go for it - I LOVE REPUBLICANS RUNNING THIS COUNTRY
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm still waiting for this valuable lesson we're teaching democrats by voting for only the most liberal far-left democrats out there. Yeah, that plan is working well

10. Have you ever considered that we, DUers, make up a small part...
...of 'its' constituents.

I would like to think there are more democrats out there than the 80,000 members here at DU. I mean, the fact that both Biden & Carper have 60% approval rating in delaware I guess means nothing to you. If you don't want anyone voting for Biden/Carper then damnit then democrats of Delaware better straigten up if they know what's good for them.

BTW, ironically Joe Lieberman has a higher approval rating in Connecticut but hell let's just put a republican in his seat because we here at DU don't like pro-enivornment, pro-choice Joe Lieberman.

BTW, I will happily and with a smile on my face vote for Tom Carper when he runs for re-election in 2006 same for Biden in 2008. However, I do not support Biden for President - too conservative for me. But if ole Joe gets the nomination, after I'm done ice skating on the frozen waters of hell I'll be out there knocking on the doors and campaigning like hell for him just like I did with Kerry, Gore, Clinton, Dukakis, Mondale, etc before him.
