Calif. politician wants cheaper firewood from national forests
:hippie: Discuss amongst yourselves.

"WASHINGTON -- A California congressman, saying there's no easy solution to the huge heating bills facing many people this winter, wants to make it cheaper to cut firewood in national forests.

Although that's unlikely to aid millions of urban households or those with no federal forest nearby, Rep. Richard Pombo (R-Calif.) says, 'Every bit helps...'"

It would smell like fried skunk.

Just goes to show that these morans are totaly devoid of anything new in the idea department.

His next big brain fart would be to use more whale oil.

3. Pombo's district is right next to ours
and you really should keep track of him. You cannot make shit up as funny as the things he says daily with a straight face. If he wasn't in a semi leadership position he could be dismissed as a clown but really he could be dangerous until the majority in the House changes. His district includes the outer reaches of the SF Bay Area could easily tend more democratic as it becomes urbanized.

4. Is being brain-damaged a requirement for being a

6. what the fuck is it with this guy?
Seems like every week he's introducing a new bill to destroy the planet. This sob is beyond greedy, he's evil and insane. I cannot imagine how he expects to get reelected. He's whipped up a firestorm of outrage and is in the crosshairs of every environmentalist in the country.

A pox on him and his masters.
