Fox thug Napolitano claims Plame was outed by...sit down, kids...WILSON.

Napolitano claimed unnamed Fox colleague said Wilson introduced Plame as "my CIA operative wife"

On the October 31 broadcast of the nationally syndicated radio show The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly, guest host Andrew P. Napolitano -- who serves as Fox News' senior judicial analyst -- cited "at least one" of his Fox News colleagues who Napolitano said claimed to have been present at a party where former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV introduced Valerie Plame as "my CIA operative wife." Napolitano used this anonymous claim to question whether Plame "was, in fact, undercover" when her identity as a CIA employee was allegedly leaked to syndicated columnist Robert D. Novak, who published it in a July 14, 2003 column. I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, was indicted on October 28 for obstruction of justice, perjury, and false statements in connection with the leak investigation. Napolitano did not explain why his mystery Fox News source has not publicly reported the story. Nor did he explain the apparent discrepancy between this claim and the Libby indictment, which states: "At all relevant times from January 1, 2002 through July 2003, Valerie Wilson was employed by the CIA, and her employment status was classified. Prior to July 14, 2003, Valerie Wilson's affiliation with the CIA was not common knowledge outside the intelligence community."

From the October 31 broadcast of Westwood One's The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly:

CALLER: I have a couple of questions. Number one, over the weekend I believe it was here, it was in the news that her husband -- this Valerie Plame's husband -- used to introduce her as "my CIA operative" at cocktail parties.

NAPOLITANO: Well, you're right that it was reported. You are also correct that there have been many reports of that. Without naming names, I will tell you that at least one of my Fox News colleagues told me that he was present at a party where she was introduced as "my CIA operative wife."

CALLER: Correct.

NAPOLITANO: So the issue is: Was she in fact undercover at the time Novak wrote the article, or had she been outed by her own husband?

4. 'it was reported" There's that hard-hitting Fox journalism style

'I will tell you that at least one of my Fox News colleagues told me that he was present at a party where she was introduced as "my CIA operative wife."'

And have you contacted Mr. Fitzgerald with that information? :eyes:

6. BushEatsBeef - a question. WHY DO YOU DO THIS? Posting this, I mean.
Didn't you read the US Surgeon General's warning about what happens when you listen to O'Reilly or his guests on any subject?

It causes cancer, makes you confuse falafels for natural sponges, makes your penis shrivel up and fall off, causes incontinence, causes simultaneous constipation & diarrhea, turns your gentle breath into a terminal case of Halitosis belonging to a fire-breathing dragon, causes varicose veins, shrinks your frontal lobes, results in adult onset Touret's and it gives you really horrific body odor?

I appreciate your keeping us informed, but, DID YOU READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE TUNING IN? If you did, at least you know the risks. Be careful out there, man!

I am waiting for them to say that Valerie herself, wore a secret agent fedora, with a card on the brim that reads, CIA, not unlike the stereotypical reporters of yesteryear.

9. Oh sure....and do you know what else?
Valerie's personalized license plate said "CIAOP"

Yes, it's true!

I heard it from someone at Fox News! It must be true.

These people are the biggest liars.

The only ones who believe this garbage are the bottom 10 percent of society who would support BushCo no matter what crimes he committed.

10. Odd, Fitz directly contradicts this in the indictment when he says
that it was NOT known outside the intelligence community prior to Novak's article.

They should quit their re-writing of history, they re-write so often they could get work in Hollywood doing script re-writes of shitty movies.

16. Have you EVER seen a lower brow than that guy's?
I certainly don't buy into the old-fashioned stuff about "people with high foreheads being more intelligent." But I do think a high forehead (or at least... SOME forehead showing) is considered a desirable trait, looks-wise.

It truly amazes me that this guy's hairline starts almost directly above his eyebrows.

Sorry, I know it's trivial, but... it's still amazing.

P.S. Of course he won't prove it! Whaddya think he IS--a LAWYER or something??

12. The unnamed Fox news colleague is.....

Retired Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely. From WorldnetDaily of all places :)

19. Vallely's credibility is questionable, I think.
He certainly has an obvious bias in promoting the FRAUDULENT Iraq war, as evidenced by his frequent appearances on the Fox Propaganda Channel. He was on there countless times, serving his treasonous masters by disseminating propaganda.

I have a question for General Traitor-helper Vallely: IF IT WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE, WHY DID A WELL-CONNECTED, SECURITY-CLEARED GUY LIKE SCOOTER LIBBY HAVE TO GO TO THE CIA AND THE VICE PRESIDENT IN ORDER TO FIND OUT PLAME'S STATUS????? Surely, General, Scooter attended just as many, and just as exclusive, cocktail parties as YOU did. If it was such common knowledge, why did Scooter, who is MUCH better connected than are YOU, not know, and have to use info direct from the CIA and the VP in order to find out?

These words are attributed to Vallely by WorldNet Tabloid: "He was a total self promoter," Vallely said. "I don't know it if was out of insecurity, to make him feel important, but he's created so much turmoil, he needs to be investigated and put under oath." Must be talking about Scooter Libby there, huh, Paul? Because those words describe him to a T.

They have been saying it for a while.

"Wilson outed her"

"She outed herself"

"It was a CIA conspiracy to go after Bush"

15. How did Curious Andrew Napolitano lose his judgeship?
Did he retire? Or perhaps he lost it due to incompetence?

God knows, citing (made-up) "anonymous sources" is a pathetic, third-grade level of lying. You'd think a crooked judge could do better.

23. Thanks, read it...
but I still would like to know why this Napolitano sleaze is no longer a judge. The majority of judges, once they get to the bench, seek to stay there as long as possible. So that makes me think Napolitano HAD to leave the bench. Did he lose an election? Have a scandal? Get in trouble with the local judicial ethics commission? Just wondering.

As for the questionable story that Vallely is floating, I'd just like to ask:

IF JOE WILSON MADE HIS WIFE'S STATUS KNOWN "AT PARTIES" AND ELSEWHERE, THEN WHY DID A SUPER-WELL-CONNECTED GUY LIKE SCOOTER LIBBY, WHO DEFINITELY GOT AS MANY D.C. PARTY INVITATIONS AS VALLELY, HAVE TO GO TO THE CIA AND TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL (VP) TO FIND OUT THAT PLAME WORKED FOR THE CIA?? Huh, Mr. Vallely?

17. We need to find his home phone number, his address, and an...
...aerial view of his house, along with the names of his wife, kids and pets. If his kids have left home, we need this stuff on them, too.

With photos.

Let him know how it feels to actually be publically outed.

If Plame's status was common knowledge, then why did Libby have
to go to the CIA and the VP (pretty high-level channels!) to find it out? The evidence, as revealed in the indictment, shows that Scooty-boot had to do that. Why would Scooty-boot have bothered if it was "common knowledge"?????

he's talking out of his ass and O'Lielly has very low ratings so a lot of people probably didn't even hear it.
