Can you list online publications that require registration?
I hate registering for a site, and I'm writing an essay about it. I'd like to list some sites that require registration.

NYT
LaTimes.
National Post

Can you help me think of some others?

bugmenot
http://www.bugmenot.com is your friend.

Supplies logins/passwords for tons of "register first" sites.

2. Dallas Morning News.....I actually have no problem with registration...
I'm getting their product for free (except for the NYT), and I have tracked it where I know I'm not getting any spam because of it. In fact, I get some pretty nice email alerts.

3. Miami herald. And all sorts of cool arts magazines....
Narrative magazine is one that comes to mind. I do not mind signing up for ones that are niche. I do mind signing up for the newspaper ones... especially when you know that info is all yours for 35 cents at a newsstand. You better not spill the beans about bugmenot.

5. I don't know if there is a way to reach the bugmenot.com people
but they would know.

WSJ is subscription only, not just registration.
Salon is also subscription or watch an ad.

Most online (local) publications - newspapers - require registration now.

8. I did that.
There are articles about the sites, but no easy comprehensive list.

Google is my friend.
