'Second Term' Lie

Anyone else tired of hearing from our presidential historians how 'these sort of scandals' are typical of second terms?

Helllllooooooooo! Plame was outed in 2003. THREE years into this 8 year nightmare. After two years of digging, the prosecutor is just beginning his indictments for crimes committed in 2003 - maybe even 2002 - but we will see about those.

1. This administration had its first scandal before Inauguration Day.

I was too stupid to realize it at the time, but of course I know now that Election 2000 was the first BushII scandal.

I would feel better if these historians would come out and admit that this is the worse administration ever based on what they know of past presidencies. But, then, if they did that they wouldn't be called back for many more appearances would they now. For instance, look at Haynes Johnson and how much he is on compared to the others. He has actually come out a few times and indicated that this is a terrible presidency... Not sure if there is a correlation, but I very rarely see him on the talking head shows anymore.
