DeLay et al claim Earle offered a guilty plea to misdemeanor
charge which would have allowed DeLay to keep his leadership post.

So they say he didn't have a good case...blah blah blah yada yada yada

(from CNN)

How much credence do we give anything from the DeLay folks?

Zero

2. Sounds like Earle tried to do DeLay a favor.
But DeLay's lawyers interpreted it to mean that Earle didn't have a case, and turned it down.

I certainly hope Earle is done doing favors.

4. this stuff comes from .....
DeLay and his lawyer. Pure B.S. Besides Earle must have
something solid on DeLay. And this does not even touch the
Abramoff (sp. ????) connections to DeLay.

DeLay send the RNC $15,000.00 the RNC sends their New England
office $15,000.00 to spend to hack get out the vote phone lines (2002)
in New Hampshire some repugs have already have entered guilty pleas
in this case .... but the head boy was given a raise and promotion ....
and the national RNC is covering his legal bills.
