The Gore Defense Force
Although 2008 is far away, we need to be prepared for the potential and inevitable GOP assault on the integrity of our candidate. Personally, I consider myself to be a prospective Gore supporter if he runs. For Al Gore, I propose the idea of a blog and message board specifically to counter and find potential smears against him and his potential candidacy. This site would be called something like the "Gore Denfense Force" which would be similar to what some Dean supporters did in during his campaign with a Dean Defense Force. However, this would be an entirely different group. It would involve brainstorming sessions to come up with potential smears, trolling Free Republic and other boards to check to old threads and recent ones against him, and analyzing how they attacked him in 2000 with memes like "exaggerator" and "liar" and "boring" and "whiny intellectual". It would also involve in pre-emptive framing in Lakoffian fashion. This would be to promote Gore amongst your friends and potential Democratic supporters early. Supporters of other candidates should be encouraged to do something similar, because in the end, no matter who wins the nomination, they will all face Limbaugh/Hannity/Drudge/Coulter/NewsMax

3. I think that it should also be a limited membership thing
Where a password is needed for the message board, but the blog is public. We shouldn't let Freepers be able to spy on stratagy plannings.

5. Count me in.
I think the Algore-08.com web site would be the best place for this. They've had the longest running pro-Gore site.

6. Excellent idea
I would like to participate. I volunteered for Gore in 2000. With each day of the Bush* regime that goes by, the country needs Al Gore more and more. Please keep me informed on this.
