We've DONE Bush I and II and Reagan and Nixon Redux..What about Kennedys?
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 07:22 PM by KoKo01
I'm still rooting for an Al Gore Resurrection...but what about the NEW KENNEDY's.

After all...America seems to LOVE the "Comeback Kids." Which Kennedy could make it? And, could we provide the security with "donor dollars" to keep them safe from the Kennedy Curse? :eyes:

After all...despite what one thinks of "Chappaquidick Ted" he's the BEST VOICE for LIBERAL DEMS out there in America...and when he's up to it he can still strike a cord in our fading Liberal Hearts. PLUS! there's still a remnant of the Kennedy Machine...some old War Horses that have influence that might be able to come into play.

If Bush II managed to come back as Poppy I with even less charm then WHY THE HELL NOT THE KENNEDY's? America Loves Royalty and Dynasties. Even Reagan's so called Lefty Son has a spot on MSNBC these days and the other one has a radio show for Conservatives.

Bring BACK THE KENNEDY MAGIC...can we do it? And if we could I think Al Gore could be a bright shining light along with Howard Dean in the NEW DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION!

Am I dreaming?

On Edit: Kerry, Kucinich and anyone else who is willing to make a CHANGE..Folks with vast Experience...they are OUT THERE...WAITING!

2. I would, too....and think that they still have some Power Brokers that

might give James Bakers and his ilk a run for their money. They may hobnob in the same places but the values and influence are very different.

Heck, after the Bush II scandals unfold we might even get help from folks we had no idea were out there...but that went along with the Repugs "for the financial ride?"

 I know its a long shot...a wild card...But what IF WE DARE TO DREAM?

I'd even find some spot where Bill Clinton could serve in a Kennedy Administration...Hillary, too.

6. I wouldn't.
Mostly because I wouldn't want the BCE to murder him like they did his dad and uncle (and maybe his cousin), but aside from that, I just can't stand to listen to the guy's voice. I honestly don't know if there's a physical problem there or what, but when he's on Air America, I change the channel. And how a President delivers a speech is very important in how he connects with the American people. His dad & uncle were both very good at that. By contrast, the Chimp can't give a speech to save his life, which reinforces his image as a stupid piece of shit. RFK jr certainly isn't dumb, but his speaking voice isn't going to win him any support with the public.

7. RFK Jr has dysphonia, as does Dianne Rehm the talk show
hostess on NPR.

It is a difficult illness, causes severe and painful muscle spasms in the throat and larynx area. The treatment of choice is Botox injections into the nerves in the affected area. The treatment improves the condition, but the effects wear off and the treatment has to be repeated

So if he did not have this unfortunate condition, he might sound just like his father.

I find it difficult to listen to him for very long at at time but it helps to know it is a disorder. On the other hand, if it were well known that it is a disorder, and that it is treated regularly, he might be able to get around it.

Who knows?

I'd love another Kennedy run. I did not get to vote for the previous ones as I was too young.

5. Yes....but I understand what you say. They do have a huge family
structure, though...with many "connections." Probably even into the Bilderbergers. :D

8. No...seriously...the only ones I could think of were
Caroline and Bobby Jr.

Hey, does Bobby Jr. have the same voice problem as Diane Rehm?

9. His dad had that "quaver" in his voice, too. Don't know what that is.
Some genetic thing.
