Studs Turkle Was On Democracy Now Today... And He
was soooooooo refreshing! I wasn't around when he was at his peak, but my oh my, at 93 he's still sharp as a tack!

He pontificated on many things and actually made me feel better somehow. But he also said that we are living in Dangerous Times because of the current "corrupt ones!" Stated that The Boy King Wonder is trying to be Reagan II and doing a very poor job.

Anyway, sometimes getting a perspective from someone from that long ago can really make you think! He spoke a lot about racial issues, but did mention the upcoming movie about... I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE FORGOTTEN THE GUYS NAME!! The very very very famous journalist during McCarthy. Oh SMACK MY HAND!! He smoked like a fiend! I'm so STUUUUPPPIIIID! Sometimers has JUST happened to me! HELP!!

What a wonderful human being, Turkle that is!

11. I just watched the trailer for that movie
It looks awesome! It incorporated real clips of McCarthy and the hearings. I can't wait to see it.

12. Why don't you enlighten us?
There are ways to point things out, and yours sounds snarky. Why don't you comment on the content of the post?

14. Gee, I'm REALLY Sorry....
Is it Terkle??? You tell me. I wasn't actually watching the show, I was listening. AND I did say it was a bit before my time. I HAVE heard him before, and I have heard about many many of his views. I also do try to be very aware of my grammar and spelling.

Sorry if I upset your apple cart.

9. Hope someone is
following him around and writing down what he says. Learning from him while he's still here. Hope a biography (or maybe an autobiography) will be out.

13. I saw that interview as well
It was great to see. Turkle just back from heart surgery was amazing. He's fascinating. Amy Goodman was smiling through the whole thing and barely had to talk at all. Studs was more than willing to recount his stories in great detail. It was great to see Amy Goodman smile like that.
