The legal concept of "clean hands" and the Miers nomination
The more I am finding out, the more appalled I am. Miers is bringing "dirty hands" to the table on any number of issues:

corporate corruption, the screwing of investors, failure to make proper disclosures(her texas law firm)

executive privilege(something she will no doubt claim time and time again in this hearing and which is still a very active issue that at some point will very probably make it to the Supreme Court. How could she ever make an impartial decision about a concept that is the very lifeblood of the Bush administration she is so much a part of?)

Just the impropriety of being part of a cabal that is under investigation as we speak, particularly in regards to Plame. (check out that picture with her going to court with W and Cheney!)

Watch the Dems in their latest interviews. I am hearing the "we don't know all that much about her right now, but will be happy to find out more" type of thing. As much as I myself second guess our leadership - maybe this time they "rolled over and played dead" but will suddenly get up and play "fetch the (bad)newspaper" in a poop filled backyard they have lured the Republicans into.
