How fun must it be to cover the Lieberman campaign?
I'm serious! I think it would be a riot! Joementum?! Cups of Joe?! Lieberman saying he basically tied for third tonight and Lieberman pointing out that if you took away the two neighboring candidates, he came in third in the same speech?! Lieberman crowds being so small, but everyone pretending they are huge!?! Lieberman saying that he defied the pundits tonight?!?! This is pure comic gold here! Lieberman's campaign reminds me of the Iraq Minister of Information or whatever that Iraq official who said that Iraq was always winning the war was.

Reporter: Senator Lieberman, what do you say to the polls that show you in fifth place across the Feb. 3rd states.
Lieberman: Well considering the fact that if you I won Iowa and New Hampshire..

1. Larry King's parting shot to Joe on his interview tonight.
"Remember, Joe, you got more votes than any other vice-President in history." Oh, the irony.

That and $.50 will buy you a cup of joe.....

3. Joe's slightly delusional,
but he does have charm, a natural sense of humor. He's also a man of conviction and integrity, IMO. He marched with MLK, after all. I disagree with many of Joe's positions but actually like the guy. He's the type of person I could support if it wasn't for the moralizing/overly religious views and hawkishness, among other things.

4. I believe...
at heart he is fundamentally a decent person. I will always admire someone for working in teh civil rights movement. I don't think he gets enough credit for that.

Unfortunately his recent record is too business friendly for my taste and his enthusiastic support for the war was a HUGE error in judgement...

covering Lieberman said that it is fun because Lieberman has a really good sense of humor that he shows more to the reporters than to the voters. Personally I find him likeable but I would not choose him, will vote for him only if he gets the nomination.
