Bush is suffering from...
Doing some late night studying for an exam in my management class this week and I found some humor in the "Escalation of Commitment Error." Here are some excerpts.

Escalation of commitment refers to staying with a decision even when there is clear evidence that it's wrong.

(People) "throw good money after bad" to demonstrate that their initial decision wasn't wrong and to avoid having to admit they made a mistake.

Many an organization has suffered large losses because a manager was determined to prove his original decision was right by continuing to commit resources to what was a lost cause from the beginning.

Managers, in an effort to appear effective, may be motivated to be consistent when switching to another course of action may be preferable. In actuality, effective managers are those who are able to differentiate between situations in which persistence will pay off and situations in which it will not.

Is this head on or what? Tell me what you think.

1. Although I believe he suffers from many other ailments....
this is however definitely one of his deficiencies. I would love to compare how his earlier companies failed, with this same thing in mind... I bet the people who "know" him in past business that he ruined, would say this very same thing about him now.

Good catch... and nice observation.

When he breathes the stuff he gets stupid and ends up terrorizing the entire planet.
If we really cared for him we'd cut him off. He's suffering.

17. This assumes Bush is in control and calling the shots
when in fact, he is not have any control as the shots are called by others and are ideologically based. EofC refers to emotion ruling over reason. There is no emotion or reason associated with the RW ideology.
