3. Been watching it.
When Turner got off on the UN and the 62 Billion for the world's top ten problems, the crowd went wild.

7. Why don't we have people like Ted Turner running the country?
I guess he'd never get elected because of his straightforward talk and boozing, but jeez it felt good to hear someone talk about DOING instead of just talking.

8. well, let's think about this for a moment . . .
who are the truth tellers? . . .

and how can we bring them all together to take back the Democratic Party and our country . . .

from posts tonight, we have a prospective presidential candidate in RFK, Jr. . . and now we have a prospective money man in Ted Turner . . .

we also have a Congressional representative in John Conyers . . . someone to keep us informed about what's REALLY going on in Washington . . . and possibly an issues expert in Gary Hart . . .

who else belongs in this coalition? . . . keeping in mind that almost all elected officials are beholden to corporations and therefore do NOT belong . . .

12. Yes, this is the kind of thing I'd love to see..........
discussed more here at DU.

Who can we all put our support behind to not only get BushCo and the rampant corruption in Congress out of there, but then lead us to a New America?

To me, voting issues and a return to the free press (not corporate-controlled media) are primary issues, other than getting BushCo out of there, of course. Actually, these two issues may be REQUIRED in order to get them out of there.

13. And, as far as finding those we at DU can all get behind........
it would be good to keep people in mind who the independents and fence-sitters can also get behind. Things will never get better if divisive people are involved, UNLESS the press starts to show that the TRUTH doesn't have to be divisive and help people see the truth. The hardcore * base is hopeless.

11. Nah...most of the Dems we have left their balls at HOME.....
So afraid that we would be taking the "low road" by being critical of Bush and his Administration.

Yet they have NO problem being critical in all those E-mails they send--of course with the DONATE button over on the right side. Get some FUCKING BALLS and call Bush and his cronies on their lies. Call Diebold with their rigged up voting machines and DEMAND an investigation. Get some balls,do some things and I might start pressing that donate button once again.

9. Hey Ted,do SOMETHING about a network please??
Please start another one. It must really SICKEN Turner to see dick sucking assholes like Leslie Blitzer,Novakula,Carlson,Britt Hume,Tweety and all the other media WHORES scattered about the landscape.

Seeing how the days of objective reporting are GONE,start a new Network and just make it 100% Democrat leaning.
