I say Galloway hands Hitchens his ass....
I remember during his senate testimony earlier this year. That man kicked some serious ass. I recall Norm Coleman sitting there looking like somebody pissed in his Cheerios that morning. I'll never forget that look.

Galloway is a well-researched and passionate guy. Hitchens is little more than a show pony. He's very trite. Sharp with words in a way, but more because he considers himself some kind of genius, which he's about the only one who does. He's annoying and overbearing. If Galloway gets him on the run and attacks he'll be fine, but once Hitchens gets going he never shuts up, whether he is wrong or right.

1. What's the "over/under"
on it turning into a physical brawl?

Neither Hitchens nor Galloway will take insults very well and I suspect that it will deteroiate RAPIDLY into insults.

6. the audience could be a factor... remember Hitch with Jon Stewart?
He was so pissed that the audience was enjoying Jon's backing Hitch into a corner.

3. My prediction, it will depend on who you talk to.
Conservatives will say Hitchens won.

Liberals will say Galloway won.

4. I surely hope so.... But, I do give Hitchen's his due...
How anyone can remain coherent, much less articulate given that much "pickling" on board, amazes me. So, while I don't agree with HITCH on much of anything, I'll give him credit for intellect.

Galloway should be a great match.

5. Galloway learned his chops on the floor of Parliament
Which makes me think that he'll wipe the floor with a dilettante like Hitchens.

15. I read that minutes after I made this post....
I just had to hurry and get to class so I never posted it myself,

However....

Greg Palast rips Galloway a new one! Wow, I was blown away! I like how he talks about Hitchens being drunk and trying to argue with him, haha. Palast is a great investigative journalist. Maybe the best there is. I have no reason to doubt that the veracity of his comments.
