CBS WH reporter's post-mortem on Bush Presidency!
oh joy, oh bliss! Do I dare believe my ears?

After B*sh's U.N. performance, Bob Schieffer was discussing the speech and its wider context with their WH reporter (sorry, don't know his name) and in closing, the reoprter said (and I quote):

"... this is a president who ran on keeping America safe... despite all of his pronouncements it isn't working".

On fucking CBS! More truth in the MSM! Yippee!

(don't anyone rain on my parade)

2. Schieffer must have found some leftover Cronkite juice. S has
been such a pimp for Bush all these years. It still seems as though he dislikes Dems.

4. Well CNN was doing some serious Bush butt-sniffing last night.

They actually had the audacity to suggest that the Dems are partly responsible for Drownie because they didn't stop his confirmation. Of course, like clockwork, Lieberman gave Drownie a glowing recommendation at the time and not many Dems showed up for his confirmation hearing.
Aarrrgggh. CNN is trying TOO hard to spread the blame.
