Anyone hearing talk on the TV tonight, you know on "What
went wrong" or for * "what didn't go right?" about possible "criminal charges" for some of the deaths, like the elderly people who needed medical care, what was there 45 of them in that one place? I heard it and I am sure glad to know that the powers that be are seriously considering that option. Not that I want to "play the blame game" or anything.

1. What TV show did you hear it on? It is good news if it's true
and not just to give people hope then dash it as FEMA did in NOLA with the calvary coming, and ice trucks being directed around the city in circles by FEMA, or the government asking for medical volunteers and 1,000 angry doctors and sugeons who came at their own expense, only not to be allowed in the city, they finally left yesterday, and the 2,000 debit card that FEMA did not know anything about then as soon as they started distributing them they stopped with another false promise.

They went back and forth on this FEMA camp and others according to the very long article and thread which are well worth reading, they were getting 1.4 hits per minute.

I just got back from a FEMA Detainment Camp

I'm extremely depressed to report that things seem to only be getting sadder concerning the people so devastatingly affected by Katrina last week.

Would like to hear more on the lawsuits and how high up the chain of command they are talking about!

3. I heard Scarborough talking about the arrogance and hostility
from these FEMA people whoever the hell they are. So I'm asking myself, self, does everyone who goes to work for this administration get the arrogance handbook straight away? Seems like they never get past that book to read any of the other guidelines or manuals or Good books or anything.

PS Just for the record, it's extremely rare for me to be in agreement with Joe Scarborough but tonight I liked his righteous indignation about the genocide and atrocities committed in New Orleans.

Although, I don't know about the lady from Vogue, is she for the "new New Orleans?" She seemed to slam government every chance she could. Maybe its me, I could be off on that judgment.

5. I saw on CNN tonight, the deaths of those 35 in the nursing home,
it seems they may charge he owner of the nursing home and not FEMA.

7. I'm not sure. Was it in Jefferson Parish? St. Rita's isn't that
where the woman Aaron Broussard spoke of was? The woman who all week was asking her son who couldn't get to her if someone was coming and everyday "Brownie" told us it was...and it wasn't and she died on Friday.

9. I have seen and heard some difficult things since Katrina hit
but that and the part from the Oprah visit where the doctor said that they were laying people who were still alive but who wouldn't make it in the make-shift morgue so that they could "die in peace." That's just WRONG! I keep thinking about my grandparents sitting out there dying. Americans who worked and lived here their whole lives and to die with absolutely no dignity and a great deal of distress, suffering, confusiion. Bush kills grandparents and babies.
