10. Uh.... not to be a raincloud on this parade
But are xeroxed ballots legal? Is that the procedure they're supposed to take if they run out?

BTW turnout news is FANTASTIC.

11. Claims That Repubs Might Be Freeping
Saying that in this largely Republican district, that many Republicans may be voting for Dean because he's "the weakest candidate to face Bush" (the Nazi whores' words, not mine). Claiming that might account for the unexpected rush on ballots.

19. I'm a Firm Clark Supporter
But I would say to any Freepers who would do that... be careful what you wish for. I could easily see Dean kicking the shit out of Bunnypants and crew.

23. Hell yes they're freeping.
Some of us have been warning about this from the start. What do people expect good Republicans to do? Stay home and respect Democratic Primaries?

We have Greens who are registering as Dems to vote for their preferred candidates. It's a one day thing. You can go re-register immediately after voting. They're doing it to make their voice heard. Republicans are doing it to hedge their bets according to whichever candidate they prefer. It could be Sharpton in certain areas for all we know. Depends if they want to have fun or totally derail us.

To think that our Primaries are going to be unfreeped is naive.

Just spend a little time at Free Republic or other right-wing sites.

I really despair for our party.

This is like watching lambs being led to slaughter.

Politics are not clean. Not nice. Not honest.
Add Republicans to the mix and it gets even uglier.

18. funny
but out of the seven running, I'd think that the Republicans would want to go against Sharpton and Kucinich, since they really ARE the weakest, and if they can "freep for Dean" they can damn well freep for Kucinich and Sharpton too....

20. Joe "Intern Killer" Scarborough
says the Bush White House is "salivating" over a Kerry run. He says Edwards would be the worst case for Bushco. Whatever. These a-holes lie like rugs. Who knows who they really fear. And, frankly, who cares...I think Kerry will be a strong candidate, even though I originally supported Dean.

21. they fear all four of them
But they fear US more. US the people.

Or we, the people, to be grammatically correct. :D

27. Actually, "us" would be grammatically correct in that case
They fear us.

They fear we.

It is "We, the people..." in the constitution because the pronoun is the subject of a sentence.

In your case, the pronoun is the object (of their fear), hence, "us."

I hope to heck they are crossing over to vote for him :)

29. Do you all realize this is just to discredit anger at Bush?
People don't get off their asses to go to polls to "freep." It's too much trouble, even for right-wingers. Voters, including Independents and Republicans, have had it with this administration. They may be just as divided on who the right democratic candidate might be, but they are not freeping the polls!

17. They're freaking out on Tweety
Tweety's spitting and Scarborough is wiping his brow and saying that Karl Rove must be very nervous right about now since N.H. is the only New England state that Junior won. Also, that Jr.'s poll numbers went down after a terrific SOTU. They can't figure it out.

25. They will be going to
copies of ballots after they run out. They also said a lot of republicans and Independents were there. Tweety asked why republicans would vote in an uncontested Democratic primary and the reporter said some republicans told him that they were there to vote for Dean because that's who KKKRove wants to run against. :grr:
