2. Apparently
he was loudly booed throughout his whole Pre-game NFL performance last night in boston.

From Boston Globe - Maroon 5 came off vapidly (doing just one song, ''Harder to Breathe"), while West did one tune, ''Heard 'Em Say." Yet it was disconcerting to hear his name booed loudly by Patriots fans who evidently didn't appreciate his nationally televised comment the other night on a Hurricane Katrina benefit that President Bush ''doesn't care about black people." The boos were thunderous and lasted for much of his number.

3. I had the extreme privilege of seeing it live
I tell you this 48 year old white gal who had never heard of Mr. West became an INSTANT fan. :D

If if you catch it, please notice the extreme anguish in Mr. West's eyes - very, very genuine.

5. Hate to give this guy the extra clicks, but he repeats the RW spin
that Kanye West "blames Bush for the Hurricane" - not for the slow response time.

http://www.sunnews.com/openmike.htm

This guy repeats the RW talking points, and openly admitted in an earlier column that he became a "conservative" because "Michael J. Fox was cool" - MJF was not "Alex P. Keaton", and APK was not a nice guy until Back to the Future installed him as the star of the show, not the parents . . .

There is some "balance" - check on columns and click on "What's Left" . . .
