Anyone see on CNN a man with a poster behind the reporter
talking about the confusion over debit cards? The poster said President Bush cut off .... and I couldn't read the rest. Anyone catch this? I guess it was from last night's Lou Dobbs. Any screen captions?

3. What?
Why? Just because they'd been "Texified"?

5. Probably Perry's bribe for taking them.
All that money to spend in Texas.

4. Here's the scoop from the tee-vee.
Apparently FEMA debit cards won't be distributed til tomorrow, for $2000 each, but only to people in a particular Houson shelter, and not to people staying elsewhere. Otherwise people are eligible for a Red Cross debit card for half the amount, but only given out at the Houston shelter.

Evacuees are scattered in 14 states. These numbnuts can't even distribute funds in ONE state.

My dog could do a better job running FEMA.

6. Um, now they won't be distributed until the "next few days"
<snip>

"FEMA is now backpedaling on those plans, limiting the cards to people camped out in the Astrodome."

"Before it expands, we have to have it working well," said David Passey of FEMA.

<snip>

On Thursday, Passey said FEMA doesn't have enough workers to staff all the shelters. Evacuees will have to register themselves, he said.

Passey wasn't certain what, if any, measures will be in place to prevent fraud.

everyone does not get $2000.

7. I saw what you're talking about too.
Though I couldn't read the sign, nor have I been able to find anything out.
