The dems have better make a point next week when the repubs try to appeal the estate tax, that disaster prevention, FEMA, and other things have gone underfunded because of the irresponsible Bush tax cuts, and with a war in Iran and Iraq, we can't afford it and still need to do what we must.

The arguement can't be that its insensitive. The arguement has to be forcefully made that these type of cuts leaver the poor more vulnerable, and as we see in the Gulf Coast, lead to the death and suffering of untold people.

he's worried the storm may overshadow the cutting of the "death" tax. He wrote a memo on his site saying that cutting the tax would help the people of New Orleans and Biloxi and should go on as scheduled.
