Celebrity/Millionaires -Which Choice Are You Making?
IF you recently paid $4000.00 for a little designer red purse, then you are likely a celebrity or millionaire as reported by one of the Entertainment News shows recently.

If you were that celebrity or millionaire and now were sitting face to face with a New Orleans mother who has lost her home, her job, her car, every item of personal property except the clothes on her back, who has hungry, thirsty children likely to get sick in the next few days, with no where to go and nothing to use to get back on her feet -- which would you do?

(A) Buy a second little designer purse in blue for $4000.00; OR
(B) Contribute that sum of money to help her and others like her.

Bonus Question: If you chose (A) as your response, what would you tell this mother and her children?

THIS IS NOT A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION --THIS IS REALLY THE CHOICE YOU FACE TODAY.

If the tables were turned and you were the homeless mother and she were the celebrity/millionaire, which choice would you hope she would make?

1. Sandra Bullock gave a million dollars to 9/11 and tsunami relief.
I can imagine she will continue. I agree. I can hardly stand the crap going on with this too.

5. A lot of celebs contribute A LOT. They just don't talk about it.
Please consider that.

3. Just another example of "the haves and the have-nots." My
best friend writes for the Tonight Show and makes a nice salary. He is pretty generous with his money and contributes to various groups.

He told me that when most of the writers start out on the show, they are "liberal democrats." As soon as they start making a little money, they all become "Republican assholes" who don't want to pay taxes.

4. It Does Not Have To Be That Way --turning into taxcut repubs
The level of corruption in society can be measured by how little that society does for the needy.
