Bush invites terrorists to attack Americans
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 11:13 AM by niceypoo
Who are the terrorists? 17 of the 19 hijackers on 911 were, yep, Saudis. Who sent em; A Saudi, of course. Bushes response? Invade Iraq. Fully half the suicide bombers in Iraq come from the Saudi kingdom. Bushes response? Tiptoe through the tulips at camp David hand in hand with the Saudi king. Bush is menacing Syria, why? Syria "isn't doing enough" to stop Saudi Arabian terrorists from infiltrating into Iraq across the Syria/Iraqi border. Do you see the pattern here?

Why does Saudi Arabia get a free pass on terrorism? Apparently Saudi Arabians are allowed to freely attack US citizens with no recourse whatsoever. On the contrary, Bush sees it as a convenient excuse to do whatever he pleases to whichever country he wants next. Why does Bush want to go into Syria you ask? Why its the gateway to Lebanon and the valley of Armageddon. Pressure from those idiot TV preachers who "babble in tongues" on the Trinity Broadcast Network I suppose.

And then there is Pakistan. Apparently the Paki government knows where Bin Laden is. The director of the CIA says he has an "excellent idea" where Osama bin Laden is hiding, but that the United States' 'respect for sovereign nations makes it more difficult to capture the al-Qaida chief'... Oh Reeeeaaaally. Tell THAT to any Afghani, Venezuelan or Iraqi. Whatever happened with the Paki Scientist selling nuclear secrets? It was on the news for a few weeks then it just disappeared. "Mr. Qadeer Khan, who headed Pakistan's nuclear program for some 25 years, admitted selling nuclear technology to Iran, Libya, and North Korea".

Did we invade Pakistan? Sanctions? Call for the guy to be sent to the Hague? What was our response?

"U.S. to Sell F-16 Jets to Pakistan"
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2005/3/25/140818.shtml

There ya have it. Pakistan sells Nukes to the "axis of evil" and we reward them with free jets! Bush is "tough on terror"? Bush wants to "Stop the proliferation of WMD"? Next time some right wing shill starts tooting his horn about the democrats being "terrorists" note a few of these facts then ask for an explanation of why Bush is soooo damn soft on terrorists and their backers.

3. Good question......
Why doesnt the MSM make the connection? Its so friggin obvious. Why is this never pointed out by the lefty pundits? This could easily kill Bush if it were concentrated on by the democrats.

4. They are also guilty
While Bush represents the worse aspects of the US's relationship with the Sauid Kingdom, the Dems have played a key role (including Clinton) in the corrupt relationship and are also complicit.

2. "Sleeping with the Devil"
Read Robert Baer's "Sleeping with the Devil" and you will have an answer to these questions. The following is a summary of the book:

"According to Robert Baer, the center of the global economy is a "kingdom built on thievery, one that nurtures terrorism, destroys any possibility of a middle class based on property rights, and promotes slavery and prostitution." This kingdom also sits on one quarter of the world's oil reserves, thus ensuring that it receives the full support and protection of the U.S. government. Sleeping With the Devil details the hypocritical and corrupt relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and the potentially calamitous economic consequences of maintaining this Faustian bargain."

"As Baer makes clear, the U.S. has been aware of problems within the bitterly divided Al Sa'ud family for years, but has ignored the facts in order to keep lucrative business deals afloat. (The amount of money the royal family spends to influence powerful American politicians and lobbyists is staggering.) Particularly damning are his details regarding Saudi Arabia's support of militant Islamic groups, including al Qaeda. The ruling family funnels millions of dollars to such groups in order to dissuade them from overthrowing the monarchy--a protection scheme that is shaky at best, given the hatred most citizens feel for the ruling family. To prevent economic disaster that could come from either a local uprising or an interruption in the flow of oil due to terrorism, Baer raises the possibility of the U.S. seizing the Saudi oil fields and forcing a regime change on its own terms: "An invasion and a revolution might be the only things that can save the industrial West from a prolonged, wrenching depression," he warns."

"Baer spent 21 years with the CIA, much of it in the Middle East, so he is an informed guide to this complex subject. His alarming book deserves to be read for raising many important and troubling questions." --Shawn Carkonen
