Lieberman Moves to New Hampshire, Becomes New Hampshirer
This could be turning point for Lieberman in the race.
New Hampshires like people that live there and Joe as
a neighbor will affect a lot of voters compared to as
just a campaigner. Joe saying "I am One of You and They
are Not" will ring a big bell for a lot of New Hamphshires.

Every four years, presidential candidates pledge to "move to New Hampshire" to win over voters in the state's early primary, but Joe Lieberman has done it.

The Connecticut senator became a temporary resident of New Hampshire on Monday in a last-month push to win over voters. The state's primary is Jan. 27 and Lieberman hopes for a strong finish although he is far behind front-runner Howard Dean in the polls.

He greeted reporters at his new, furnished, two-bedroom apartment in Manchester, the state's largest city.

"Obviously, I've said for a long time I was going to start my quest for the White House here in New Hampshire," Lieberman said. "We're going to do better than expected with that typical feisty, independent-minded, surprise-the-pundits-and-pollsters attitude of voters of New Hampshire." He said his wife, Hadassah, would be moving in Jan. 1.

12. Hey, he's got nothing on Howard Dean
The only way Howard Dean could be more a pandering jerk than he already is would be if he admitted to voting for Ralph Nader in 2000, like so many of his most enthusiastic supporters did.

And I'm about as enthusiastic as they come. Try again.

2. OMFG!
I thought this was a parody until I read it!
Lieberman's contempt for the intelligence of the average voter is nauseating.

3. All the people I have ever met from New Hampshire
would see through this immediately. Most are very practical people, This is a cheap move. This is a cheap Lieberman--he is desperate. And he is disgusting. I am ashamed that he calls himself a democrat. He is a self serving plutocrat.

6. Connecticut residents take note!
Can Joe legally serve in the Senate if he's a resident of another state? ;)

9. didn't this jerk
just ask his campaign workers to go without paychecks in January?

Sorry Joe. You'll never be one of us. Hope Hadassah brings plenty of fresh squeezed juice.

(she carped, bitterly, when she was unable to get it by snapping her fingers here in the north country.)

10. It ought to get people talking about his campaign.
It will jump start his campaign. It's interesting
and gets people talking and thinking about him
again. He could move to each state right before
every primary. Let's wait til the new post-move
polls before we write this off as a campaign ploi.
Remember, he didn't get to be Vice-President by
falling off the turnip truck. How would you like
to move some place all of a sudden in the dead of
winter. It's kind of critizing New Hamphsire to
say he would only move there for politics.

18. What a dope
Lieberman is a dope and he must think the same of NH voters. Leiberman has "moved" to New Hamshire about as much as I've moved to the moon. Does he really think this empty gesture is going to peruade anybody?

Of course, now that he's a resident of NH, the citizens of Connecticut will have to find a new senator -- I'm pretty sure one can't live in NH and represent Connecticut in the senate.
