What will happen to Tony Blair in the light of the London bombings?
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 05:44 AM by Cascadian
The criticism of Blair and his decision to join in Bush's adventurism in Iraq and Afghanistan heats up in the light of last Thursday's bombings in London. Former Labour MP George Galloway was the among the first to criticize Blair's involement with Bush citing it for the reason for the bombings that shattered Central London...

A recent article in the Guardian also points the finger at Blair's willingness to send troops to invade Iraq and Afghanistan as the reason for the terrorist attacks.

Is the beginning of the heat being on Blair? Can he be removed from the leadership of Labour and the UK?

I can only hope people will step up pressure on Blair and for Labour to bring in new leadership to change course. Bring Old Labour back!

1. It won't be good for Blair.
If anything, it'll speed his exit and Gordon Brown's entrance as PM.

>Bring Old Labour back!

Not so sure that's a good idea, given their history of losing to the Tories at every available opportunity.

2. Is that the right link?
The Guardian article you've linked to is supportive of Blair's "willingness to send troops to invade Iraq and Afghanistan". I don't see how that is bringing "heat" on Blair.
