Does Anyone Else Worry about Rep. Conyers' Safety
Ok..I admit, there's some tin foil action at work here, but I do worry about Conyers' safety (see Paul Wellstone plane crash) With Conyers basically leading the charge angainst BushCo, JC's a prime candidate for a sad headline.

Anybody think along these lines or am I clearly over the edge?

3. Absolutely...
The BushCo and repugs are capable of anything. Conyers, should he meet with an unfortunate "accident" or unexpectedly commit "suicide", would not be the first to have done so after trying to bring down BushCo. Enron. Funeralgate. Franklin scandal. Just to name a few...

6. I've even posted about it.

But the fact is that BFEE would have to take out the entire Congressional Black Caucus. Conyers is not alone.

At this point I think BFEE would have to figure out a way to do it so that it could be blamed on terrorists. And that boat won't float unless they take out a few thousand innocent Americans at the same time. Not that I put it past them. I just think that their polls have sunk so low that any tricks they pull now will seriously backfire.

Still, I worry about John. And Maxine. And Barbara. And Sheila. And all the American heroes in the CBC and their supporters. I even worry about us. I'm a born worrier, but I believe that we were in the majority previously and that our numbers are skyrocketing, while the puke numbers are avalanching. And that will continue with or without John Conyers. If they assassinate him, they'll probably find themselves with a lot of renamed streets, schools, and airports, and a new national holiday. They can kill him, but he'll never die.

7. No, because when he gets too much attention the right wing
will just say he's playing the "race card" and have him dismissed as a nut in the MSM.

9. If people actually start listening to him, I'd be worried
But right now they can just portray him as a fringe whacko leftist.

10. Sure, but don't you think Conyers knows the risks? Yes, he does
and that's what makes him such a great statesman.
