CNN's Capital Gang cancelled!

Holy crap! I was watching CNN Capital Gang and they were airing their last show. I wrote a bit about it and my thoughts in my blog. If you want, check it out.

They go along with the corporate owned media party line to keep their jobs. Idiots! When does it dawn on them that if EVERYBODY is reading the same message, the CEOs are eventually gonna figure to save some $$ and fire all but one. Why pay a crowd when only one voice is heard?

Damned fool 'journalists' made themselves obsolete as soon as they sold out and stayed on topic instead of doing their jobs. Ya don't need a chorus to sing one note.

The Capitol Goons have served no purpose. Shields can find his voice in another (more dignified) forum-he's a good writer. Hunt needs to spend some time with Judy Woof-woof and educate her, O'Bierne needs to finally see a dentist and Novak...well...discuss.

5. A change at CNN

While I'm waiting for CNN's next missing persons story, I will take a break and agree that CNN is changing. Before it was about 60% tabloid news...now I think they've made an important decision. If the "Star" is the most popular newspaper in the country, why not try to 24/7 of the same on cable.

How CNN managed to get worse is truly a wonder of the age. But they did it.

When asked why the Plame case wasn't discussed on Capitol Gang, Margaret Carlson said something to the effect that it's Bob Novak's show and we discuss what he wants to discuss.

CNN gave Novak a consolation prize, though – a Saturday afternoon program that no one watches. Hope this is the last of Novak, but Faux will probably pick him up.
