Great 2004 Debate Moments: What's your favorite?
I have to say that I just LOVED the part where Kerry spoke about George Jr. saying that he would get Osama dead or alive and then a few weeks later saying he didn't think much about him, and then George Jr. replying (paraphrase):

"I don't remember ever saying I didn't think much about Osama. That must be one of those EXAGGERATIONS."

I couldn't believe my ears, this imbecile actually forgot who he was talking to, what year it was and/or what the Rovian line of attack was for Kerry (flip-flopper).

He F*CKING THOUGHT HE WAS TALKING TO GORE.

What a f*cking idiot.

What's your favorite moment?

1. Too bad the broadcast media let Bush get away with that SCREAMING LIE.
Actually, I thought after that screamer, if the media wasn't going to out Bush's incompetence and constant lying then, that they never would. He handed it to them on a silver platter with that one and they still passed.

2. Yup, they covered it like it was a minor mistake
among a bunch of other minor misspeaks people always say in debates. They didn't treat it like the whopper it was.

/sigh

15. Chimp: "I knew that"
in the 3rd debate, when Kerry pointed out that Saddam was not Osama and Iraq had not attacked us.

4. The unexplained "HUMP"

5. Dubya's tantrum in the second debate.
Where he started yelling over the moderator. I thought I was going to die laughing.

Classic runners-up:

The Chimp's long panicked mid-sentence silences as he tried to kick his mental machinery into gear and find the right words.

Also: "It's hard work! It's hard work!"

And of course: "Need some wood?" :)

13. When he said "Hold on a second"
Or something like that when nobody was talking. Got some wood and internets are a classic. Also when he said he could be considered a good "steward of the land." That one had me doubled over.

14. Tough call: all of #1; rage attack at Gibson in #2; drooling in #3
There were so many golden moments in all the debates.

More than any of the Chimperors' foolishness, my favorite part was how truly magnificent Kerry came off - poised, articulate, eloquent, knowledgeable, confident - which were even more enhanced by the stark contrast of Dumbya's stuttering, fumbling, ignorant smirks, sneers, and blank stares.
