hoping to see a few good ones here. FYI: There's still a web video of that magnificent Memorial Ceremony at: http://shows.implex.tv/wellstone/ I must have watched it in entirety (almost 4 1/2 hours!) at least 5~6 times. Now that you've jogged my memory, I'll watch it again tonight.

STAND UP, KEEP FIGHTING!

On edit: Thee are already some great quotes here; a few I've seen before but had almost forgotten.

5. IME, the best things he said weren't quotable.
They were great because of the passion he used to say them. My particular favorite is, "I'M THE LABOR SENATOR FROM MINNESOTA! I'M THE LABOR SENATOR FROM MINNESOTA! I'M THE LABOR SENATOR FROM MINNESOTA!"

Not that great when you just read it. But when I saw him say it, he was standing on his tip-toes behind a podium at the Electricians Hall, in front of a crowd all on their feet, everyone screaming with joy as this man hollered and whooped and waved his arm, because we knew he was telling the truth. I just about cried.
