TN lawmakers busted in sting operation.

FBI and TBI had 2 year undercover operation, set up a fake company, and lamakers took bribes (so called "consulting fees") to give the fake company a contract.

I believe both D's and R's involved and arrested.

Guess I just don't understand how this is different than lobbyists on Capital Hill paying money to election campaigns in exchange for votes. Hope someone will clue me in.

2. I think it might have been a setup

For the '06 Race, Harold's Uncle was arrested and he's running for Frists Senate seat.

3. This isn't the first thing that Harold's uncle has been involved in ...

he's been in the news for months about other charges as well. A close friend who grew up in Memphis told me that most Memphis politics is very crooked ... but then again I bet everyone can say that about local politics.

4. I live in Hamilton County

and these local politicians are corrupt but It makes them lighting rods for the GOP and keeps these southern states Red. I'm tired of this crap. This bullshit effects the entire party even on the national level.
