Its obvious the photos of Saddam in his tightie whities was released on a Friday to keep negative news about R's out of the weekend news cycle. Which story were they trying to stifle?

Actually, on this one, I don't think it the WH. I think the media is getting tired of being manhandled by the WH, and they sided with Newsweek on this ezpose stuff. NY Post published the photos including sources to show there are real problems and here's one of them.

The runaway bride story got stale so they had to come up with something new. I'm just glad it didn't have to do with more bombs supposedly set by "terra-ists." But that may still come.
