The horrendous destruction of the museums and archives of Iraq, the oldest treasures of human civilization, in the wake of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Millennia of history were bombed, looted and destroyed, and with them the memory and culture of Iraq.

1. some info
i don't have time to watch this right now, but this link is archaeologists here in chicago that are trying to hang on to a little bit of this history. despair is a woefully inadequate as a word to describe how scholars feel about this.

3. This is disgusting
They did this on purpose to strip the Iraq people of their culture in order for PNAC to brainwash these people Erase and force a new culture on them. When one has ties to their culture, they are strong, take away the ties and they have nothing. Once all this is gone the christian colation/PNAC can start brainwashing.

Did you listen to Randi today? She was talking about the extreme right wing christians today.
I didn't hear the whole program, but these folks are out to brainwash everyone. They love war. Maybe someone who listented closely to her can relate better than I am able.

4. far more widespread than that
they are looting and stealing all over the middle east under cover of this war. syria has also been stripped. make no mistake, this is not mere collateral damage. it is deliberate looting.

and that corporate armies (Blackwater etc...) were protecting the US sponsered looters at tax payers expence...it is the 80,0000 ancient cuniform tablets with the worlds earliest writings and thousands of ancient manuscripts and scrolls that some people do not want eyes to ever br able to knpw the truth about nor see ever again.

all truth is lost now
