ANTHRAX DECLARE WAR ON THE BIOSHIELD ACT

Last month, the original members of Anthrax...unexpectedly reunited. One of their first orders of business was applauding a ruling which bans U.S. military personnel from being forced to take an experimental anthrax vaccine that had ties to Gulf War Syndrome. Now they've moved on to the next phase of their war on involuntary drug experimentation.

Before they gigged at the House Of Blues in Chicago, Illinois, members of the band...(spoke) out against passage of the Bioshield Act...(Guitarist Scott Ian says,) "The Bioshield Act says that the Department Of Defense and the Department Of Health And Human Services can force drugs and vaccines on the civilian population as well as the military"...Also disturbing is that the Bioshield Act would go into effect not only at the time of a national emergency, but during a "potential" emergency as well. (A potential emergency such as a draft, perhaps?)

...Anthrax's concern about this issue is such that they have joined Slave To The Metal, dedicated to raising public awareness about the use of experimental drugs and the misuse of substances such as mercury, lead, and depleted uranium...
