Poll question: Should Honorary Republican Party Memberships ...
... be awarded to those Democrats who have seemingly made a lifestyle out of attacking other Democrats?

2. It depends on the circumstances.
Honest criticism is OK. As long as they're generally Democratic on the core issues, I don't see why they should move. Joe Lieberman can stay. Zell Miller's basically already jumped, and is of no use. He attacks Dems all the day long?

3. Absolutely
There are people here who hurt the party far worse than Freepers could ever manage. Backstabbing from within is a surer way to doom something than attacks from without.

7. That's beautiful!
Cut it out into an oval shape and shelac it on to a plaque made of some exotic wood, emboss it with gold plated letters, and anyone should be proud to be the recipient.

Gosh, I just can't get over that handsome face.:loveya:

BTW: I LOVE your Tolkien quote... it's so VERY appropriate.

Edited to add: AND your Clark quote. Man, if more people took that advice seriously...

I thing you've gotten the intended meaning behind it.;-)

The painting is by Tolkien too. And the avatar is a picture of him. I'm a bit of a fan I guess you might say. But nobody's hotter than my Zell!

9. Thank you.
I wish I had paint/photoshop skills, and I'd make my Zell Miller Honorary Republican Award into a pretty framed picture.

11. Somebody should definitely photoshop it
and then we could have it around to confer on any deserving poster anytime they demonstrate a desire for it.

But I still wouldn't call him a Republican.

16. power comes before purity
our party is one of governance, not ideological purity. we need votes to govern before we look for "purity."
