Does Frist have the votes or not? Anybody know?
I heard on several news shows yesterday that Frist has the votes to end the filibuster. Is this just more repug blowing smoke or has there been a shift in repug Senators who said they would vote against ending the filibuster?

McConnell is just staggeringly drunk on Kool Aid and "power" so I don't believe a thing he says but he has been repeating that ad infinitum in front of every camera that will show his ugly mug all weekend and in the paper. Smug prick.

God, how I dislike that asswipe and his cloned Stepford wife, every thing they stand for, and their easy trashing of a country. Will this nightmare ever end?

1. My guess is that he does not...
otherwise, the vote would have already taken place.

2. My guess is he does
But he is affraid of what is to follow.

I can't count 6 republicans joining all the democrats. 3 to 4 may be... but not 6. I hope I am wrong.

3. I agree.
I think when push comes to shove, we won't have the votes to stop it.

5. I think your count is about right
The question is, will the Democrats use their own nuclear option and shut down business?

6. I think they are twisting the arms of two or three "moderates"
and are starting to feel more confident, but I don't think they have the votes as yet.

You have to call your reps TODAY and ask them wtf is Frist doing conflating church and state in this country? Why is he disrespecting BOTH Church and State.

YOU are the swing votes.
