What kind of target needs that?

And what kind of target is worth $18.5 million dollars? For just 201 bombs and the F-15 mounted bomb carriers?

2. Sorry, it was the practical side of me...
$18.5M for bombs and delivery mechanisms. 201 of them. These bombs are dropped from a jet, and are 7.5" in diameter.

Limited targets for a weapon like that. A jet will be going so fast, the 60 mile range is good for them. But what would you bomb with such a small bomb at so great an expense?

4. Pittsburgh Penguins...
AND the Buddy Christ.

You're all set. :-)

I think I'd have to feel pretty special if somebody thought enough of me to spend $18.5 Million on getting rid of me. :-P

7. As a depressed Flyers fan, I was just happy to see something hockey.
It made me smile.

Save the bombs for the Rangers.

11. Is this Democratic Underground? or Delusional? :-)
The Flyers are ripe for a complete self destruction.

The only way things could be worse, is if they bring Lindros back.

If my Flyers have to eat it, I would have no problem if it were the Pens that did it.

Just as long as the Flyers still end up ahead of the Rangers.

12. What? Delusional?
OK, maybe I am just a bit...would be nice if the Rangers bite the big on, though...

Hey, a fellow can dream, can't he?

13. Here's hoping that this time next year...
We're both laughing at the Rangers, watching our teams do well on the way to playing in the Eastern Conference finals after beating Montreal, Toronto, Washington, Ottawa, Boston and the Islanders.

In other words, no southern hockey, and no Rangers in the playoffs.

And this time next year, we should be spinning up the 2006 election cycle. Plenty to do.

8. If there is a plan to decomission older jets...
Then, fine. F-22's all around.

My question would be, do they REALLY cost that much, how much is built in fun money for everyone involved?
