Norm Coleman makes one of the most idiotic statements.....,
Edited on Wed Apr-20-05 07:42 AM by BlueJazz
...I've ever heard. I was watching the confirmation hearing and this sleaze-Ball says:
"Bolton's management style shouldn't matter or have any bearing on his confirmation"

Yeah..Right, Norm...It's always REAL smart to hire someone who is abusive, stubborn, sexist and a host of other human "nastiness" to
a high position of power.
It makes his/her underlings want to do a good job in their positions.

Christ!...What an Idiot!

3. Especially...
Especially in to a high position of power where they are REPRESENTING the United States in a diplomatic fashion... but, then again, Republicans (and the Bush administration) wouldn't know how to be diplomatic even if they got smacked on the head with a diplomatic stick.

I hear it's a good idea to put an abrasive, "my way or the highway" guy in to power when you want to try and reach out to other nations to work with you.

4. Just sent him yet another email
Senator Coleman,
I write to you again to voice my displeasure with your actions in Bolton's confirmation hearings. Yesterday you said something that completely blew my mind. You said "Bolton's management style shouldn't matter or have any bearing on his confirmation" Take a step back from this and realize that this man is not a good representative of our country. He will further degrade our standing in the world's eye. I really don't undrestand why you wouldn't want to get all the information on him before you vote for him. I ask again that you please reconsider voting for this man.

Of course Normie will do whatever his puppetmasters tell him to. He'd only vote against Bolton if Cheney or Rove told him to.
