What do freepers think of Code Pink?
My hat is off to the three Code Pink members who caused a stir at today's Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing for the consideration of confirmation of John PNAC Bolton as Ambassador to the UN. See http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=1385912&mesg_id=1385912

I was searching for Corporate Media coverage of the event (there is a bit by MSNBC and AP, not much else, so I searched regular Google. Found this and thought you may be interested in a reding what the freepers think of Code Pink.

This is their coverage of an anti-war protest in Fayetteville. Note that the freepers, judging from the pictures, were quite a distance away.

Does this make any sense to you?

4. This makes no sense.
I can't even bear to read the freeper site too much. I always find my IQ dropping when I'm over there.

I'm sure, however, they hate Code Pink. I mean, how could anyone question this great *leader* of ours? If you're against *, you're against the troops. Code Pink, why do you hate America?

5. Code Pink kills troops who give $2 to terrorists?
I give money to terrorists every time I fill my tank up with gas. I'd better stay the hell away from Code Pink!

Thanks for the warning FreeRepublic!

6. They said on FR that Code Pink gave money to Al-qaeda.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1312014/posts?page=3#3

If that were true - they'd have been detained by now.

How can they be so dumb?

the American troops are giving two-dollar terrorists. :7

15. Freepers:
Being morons is its own reward :)

Freepers needn't worry about the truth, or logic, or reality. They go merrily along their way with nary a thought. Ignorance is bliss, bliss is freeperville!

16. * is offering a few million $$ to Iran to promote "democracy."
This seems worse than any $2.

Hey, who am I kidding? Nothing * does bothers freepers, including bombing innocents Iraqi victims.

19. It has to do with aid to citizens of Fallujah during the siege...
From what I understand, Code Pink helped raise money and supplies that were sent as humanitarian aid to the people of Fallujah prior to one of the assaults on the city. Since, in the eyes of Freepers, Arab = Terrorist, Code Pink was giving money to terrorists.

At least that's how Medea explained it at the Fayetteville rally.
