5. I've loved Russ ever since

I wrote him a letter saying that I thought he did a good job standing up for us and not rubber-stamping the patriot act. I didn't think anything of it until I got a hand written note thanking me for telling him he did a good job. I never thought that they even read my letters let alone responded like a real live human being. He's come to our school at our (college democrats) request and done some great speeches and put some CR's in their place at the same time.

He is truly my idol, if I ever go into politics he's the guy I would model my career after. I hope he runs in 2008!
