One huge difference between us and the "Culture of Life"ers
When we are confronted with a rightie whose loved one is going through something like this (and it will), we will actually offer compassion and a shoulder to cry on.

Will the other side offer us the same, or are we going to get "Your kid is suffering for your sins, you dirty filthy bastards!"?

1. No
Look at that woman in New Jersey who son died in the War. She asked a critical question at a Bush/Cheney rally and the rightists shouted her down "Your son chose to serve in the military!"

Seeking compassion from the Right is like looking for pity from a pit bull.
